PokeWalker gadget

If you are a fan of Pokemon then you’ve probably already heard that Nintendo is remaking Pokemon Gold and Silver with the new names Heart Gold and Soul Silver. But what Nintendo didn’t announce until last Sunday was the fact they are enhancing the game with the addition of a walking meter.

The little device is being called the PokeWalker and will come bundled with both versions of the game. It is meant to be carried with you wherever you go and interfaces with your DS and Pokemon game via infrared. What you can do is upload one of your Pokemon to the device and take it with you. By walking around that Pokemon then gains experience and affection for their owner. (more…)
